What is Ballyards Castle?

A training school, retreat and renewal centre, house of prayer, and conference facility.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you to come and visit us here at the castle.

Ballyards Castle, situated in the village of Milford in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, was built in 1872 as a private residence. Over the years, it has been a private school for boys, a hospital for patients with special needs and, more recently, a rehab centre run by the Christian organisation, Stauros.

In 2015, Drop Inn took over the lease of the property and for the past 5 years, we have been using it as a Centre for Retreat and Renewal, Mission School, Conference Facility and a House of Prayer.
